Danilo Carrera is an Ecuadorian actor, born on January 17, 1989, in Guayaquil, Ecuador. The oldest of five children, he studied at Colegio Balandra Cruz del Sur in Ecuador and began his career as a model in Ecuador, appearing in fashion shows, Toni commercials, and also working with De Prati and Abercrombie & Fitch. Before acting, his greatest passion was soccer and in 2007 he was part of the Ecuadorian Emelec under-18 team, which was crowned champion. In 2008, Carrera joined the Ecuadorian team Barcelona Sporting Club, where he played until 2009. As an actor, he achieved enormous popularity with the Telemundo soap opera Dangerous Relationships (2011), whose work allowed him to obtain another of his most important roles, that of Axel, in the soap opera Grachi (2012-2013), produced by Nickelodeon. In recent years, he has participated in soap operas such as Quererlo todo (2020-2021), Overcome the absence (2022) and El amor invincible (2023), among others.
