Emmy Clarke (born September 25, 1991 in Mineola, New York) is an American actress who goes by the stage name of Mary Elizabeth Clarke (née Clarke). Clarke’s family relocated to Houston, Texas, when she was a little child of one. She relocated to Woking, England, when she was six years old, where she attended TASIS England before relocating to New York City when she was eleven. It is derived from her first two initials that she is known by the moniker “Emmy.” She has two siblings, Patrick (the elder one) and Bridget (the younger one) (younger).  She is presently a resident of Fairfield County, in the state of Connecticut. Her debut acting role was in the 2003 television film My House in Umbria, for which she was nominated for a Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance in a TV Movie, Miniseries, or Special – Supporting Young Actress in 200The television series Monk featured Clarke in recurring roles as Julie Teeger, the daughter of Adrian Monk’s secretary Natalie. Her first appearance on the show was in the Season 3 episode “Mr. Monk and the Red Herring.” She also had a part in the film Fur, which was released on November 10th, 2006.
