Heather was born on 31 December 1962 to her parents Linda and John Melvin See Jr. However, Linda split up with Joseph. Heather was just a year at the time. After the marriage broke, Linda moved from Tucson, Arizona, to New York City.  Paul married Linda in March 1969, after which he formally adopted Heather.

Heather was inclined toward photography and artwork from a very young age. The interest developed into a passion, and pursued a career in the field. Heather's career started as a photographer. She was one of the best in the business and began to photoshoot cig celebrities. Later on, she shifted toward the art field and became a pottery designer. Now she is an artist and a potter by profession.

Heather launched a line of houseware products named Heather McCartney Houseware Collection in 1999. Her father, Paul, attended the launch event that took place in Atalanta, Georgia, to promote her products.

Heather has seen her share of the limelight after she became one of the McCartney family. She also earned a name for herself through her own efforts. But Heather prefers to maintain a low profile and remain from the camera to concentrate on her pottery.

Half-Sister Beatrice McCartney

Beatrice McCartney is also a half-sister of Mary and the youngest of all the McCartney siblings. She was born on 28 October 2003.

Beatrice was born to Mary's stepmother, Heather Mills, and her father, Paul McCartney. Mary's father, Paul, married Heather in 2002. It had been only four years since Linda passed away. Mary's mother, Linda, was suffering from breast cancer and died in 1998. She was fifty-six at the tiime.

After a year into their marriage, Paul and Heather Mills welcomed Beatrice. Beatrice became the fifth McCartney sibling. But Paul's marriage with Heather Mills didn't last long. The couple separated in 2006 and got divorced two years after that.
